Original release date (UK): 18-Feb-1972
Addtl. Category 6308086 of original UK release on Philips label listed on cover, Philips references are removed however.

This release is presented as a replica of the original vinyl edition with a paper sleeve cover & CD print that looks like the original label (so called Paper Sleeve Collection Vol.1). It also is released with a paper obi strip and additional inlay information mostly in Japanese.

Track durations are inconsistent between additional inlay information and paper sleeve cover (cardboard-like replica of original vinyl cover). Track durations listed here are from information sheet as they are more consistent with track durations read from the audio files. Also the track title of track 6 is different between the CD and the cover. The bonus tracks are not mentioned on the cover but on the CD and the inlay, obviously in order not to destroy the replica character of the release.

The production credits are inconsistent between the cover and the CD label. Listed here are the production credits of the cover as they are most consistent with other releases of this album. However, the production credits are inconsistent throughout several releases of this album: Compare Manfred Mann's Earth Band (the original US Polydor release) and Manfred Mann's Earth Band (re-release on Bronze Records). The exact split of the producer responsibilities is unknown, but most likely as follows:
Manfred Mann/Dave Hadfield: Tracks 2, 3, 6 to 8, 10
David Mackay: Tracks: 1, 4, 9
Ambiguous info: Track 5 (but believed to be produced by Mann/Hadfield as it seems to be more consistent).
No production credits are given for the bonus tracks.

Writer credits are listed from the CD label. Writer credits on the info sheet are in a different format showing additionally first name initials. On the CD the artist is mentioned in one instance with 'Manfred Mann' only. The CD print carries further reference to the original vinyl release center labels like side identification ('1'), stereo symbol and speed reference in rpm ('33 1/3').

Tracks 11 to 13 are bonus tracks compared to the original vinyl version.
