Leftovers from the sessions in 1955 and 1956 that produced the Herbie Nichols Trio album (BLP 1519), first released on the Mosaic box set in 1987. This compilation includes all Nichols compositions that were not released on the original four records during his lifetime plus four alternate takes from tracks released on BLP 1519.
