Notes
This was the first of two albums released by The Lead, one of the premier groups on the GS scene and the only successful geijin rock band in Japan. Their initial lineup was Phil Trainer (aka Phil Steele) on bass guitar and lead vocals, Tamia Arbuckle on rhythm guitar, Mark Elder on lead guitar, and Alan Hill on drums. "The Lead Goes R&B" featured R&B-flavored cover versions of fourteen all-time rock classics including "You Are My Destiny", "Heartbreak Hotel", "Lucille" and many more.{keyblock}
