Plug In Flush Out is a collection of material from the 1972 tour that is claimed to be for an unrealized live album. It first surfaced on vinyl in the eighties on Plug In Flush Out (1SB72) containing tracks from the June 24th Fort Worth early show and material from the three shows in Philadelphia on July 20th and July 21st. On compact disc Vinyl Gang released Plug In Flush Out (VGP-259) and Rattlesnake released Touring Party 1972 (RS 048/49/50), both of which expanded on the original concept by introducing supplemental material. Singer’s Original Double Disc return to the original concept of the vinyl release on this issue, and present the thirty four songs in their original sequence. The sound quality varies from the different shows but is generally excellent quality.
