Recording took place on ten days between August and November of 1996 at four locations: a miso brewery (formerly an elementary school) in the mountains of Wakayama, Osaka University of Arts, Koukiji Temple grounds (Studio Nirvana), and at the studio of Osaka Visual Arts College.
